How to Cancel Your AHG Membership

We'd love to have you stay, but if you need to cancel your AHG membership, you can do it anytime right from your billing page. Here's how it works.

When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of your current billing cycle — you'll keep full access to the Member Community and your resources until then, and you won't be charged again.

Canceling Your Subscription

1. Log in to Your Account

Go to your subscriptions page: community.americanherbalistsguild.com/account/billing?tab=subscriptions and sign in if prompted. Please note: your username is the email address linked to your AHG membership.

(You can also get there anytime by clicking your profile image or initials in the top-right corner, selecting Billing, and opening the Subscriptions tab.)

2. Find Your Subscription

On the Subscriptions tab, locate the active membership you'd like to cancel.

3. Open the Actions Menu

Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to that subscription and select Cancel.

4. Confirm

Click Confirm cancellation.

That's it. Your subscription will be set to expire at the end of your current billing cycle, and you'll continue to have access until that date.

What Happens When Your Membership Ends

Once your membership ends, please note:

  • You'll lose access to member benefits, including the Member Community and member-only resources.
  • Your professional listing will be removed from the AHG website.
  • Update your own listings, too. If you showcase your AHG membership on your personal website, social media, or other online profiles, please remove those references once you are no longer a member.

Prefer to Pause Instead?

Not ready to leave for good? We can arrange a pause for you. Email us at office@americanherbalistsguild.com and we'll defer your billing so you won't be charged during your break, while keeping your membership and professional listing active. When you're ready to return, your regular billing simply resumes.

A Few Things to Know

  • You keep access until your cycle ends. Cancelling stops future renewals — it doesn't remove your access right away.
  • Installment plans: If you purchased your membership on an installment plan, please contact us at office@americanherbalistsguild.com so we can cancel any upcoming payments for you.

Changed Your Mind?

You can renew anytime. See How to Renew and Manage Your AHG Membership to pick up right where you left off.
