How to Renew and Manage Your AHG Membership
Your AHG membership gives you access to the Member Community, Herbal Study Hall, and member resources. This guide covers how your membership renews, how to renew if it has expired, how to update your payment details, and where to go if you'd like to cancel or pause.
How Your Membership Renews
AHG memberships renew automatically on a recurring basis, using the payment method on file. Before each renewal, you'll receive a reminder email so there are no surprises. As long as your card is current, you don't need to do anything — your access continues without interruption.
If a renewal doesn't go through (for example, an expired card), your membership may lapse and show as expired on your Billing page. You can restore it anytime using the steps below.
Renewing an Expired Membership
If your AHG community membership has expired, follow these steps to renew:
1. Log in to Your Account
Visit the AHG Community site: community.americanherbalistsguild.com and sign in with your credentials. Please note: your username is the email address linked to your AHG membership.
2. Access Billing Settings
Click your profile image (or initials) in the top-right corner, then select Billing from the dropdown menu. The full URL is community.americanherbalistsguild.com/account/billing
3. Locate Your Expired Subscription
On the Billing page, find the section listing your subscriptions. Look for the one marked expired or cancelled.
4. Renew Your Subscription
Next to the expired subscription, click the three-dot menu (⋯). Choose Renew subscription. (see screenshot). This is especially important if you have listings that you want to preserve.
5. Complete the Checkout Process
You will be taken to the checkout page. Review your plan selection, enter or confirm your payment information, and submit the form to renew your membership.
Your membership will be restored immediately once payment is processed. Once renewed, your membership will continue to renew automatically going forward.
Updating Your Payment Information
To keep your automatic renewals running smoothly, make sure your card on file is current:
1. Sign in at community.americanherbalistsguild.com.
2. Click your profile image (or initials) in the top-right corner, then select Billing.
3. In the payment method section, add or update your card details and save.
Your new payment method will be used for your next renewal.
