How to ensure you are receiving AHG email announcements and updates

If you’re missing emails, it may be due to one of the following reasons. Please give a review, and reach out if you need any assistance.


  1. Restrictive notification settings in our member platform
  2. Spam filters needing updates
  3. An outdated or incorrect email on file.
  4. You may have unsubscribed from our mailing list (even if by accident)

  1. How to update your notification settings.
  • At any point, you can update your notification settings from the account area of the AHG member community.
  • You can also adjust settings for specific spaces. These are the items in the sidebar menu. For example, you could click on the "What's new" space and make sure that you're getting notified every time we post an update for members. This should be turned on by default.

  1. Ensure our emails aren't being marked as spam
  • Double-check your inbox and spam folder for messages from us
  • Update your records to indicate that emails from AHG are not spam
  • Make sure office@americanherbalistsguild.com is on your contact list (also tells spam filters to ignore it)

  1. Updating your member email address
  • From the account on our member website, you can change your email address. You might not be able to change it if we have two accounts for you with different email addresses. We would have to do that manually, so let us know if you run into any issues.

  1. Subscribe to our Mailing List
  • The best way to make sure that you're subscribed to our email list is to simply sign up again. You'll receive a confirmation email, and then you can follow the steps above to make sure it's in your contacts list and not being flagged as spam by your email provider. Subscribe to our mailing list here.
